The next edition of ISWinT will take place between July 22nd and July 31st 2024.

ISWinT takes place in Timisoara, Romania.

All of the participants will be staying in the same building, together with the organizers, in a students' dorm at the campus.
 

In July, it is usually 20-35 °C (68-95 °F). Bring your swimming suit, t-shirts and a jacket (for an unexpected cold day). You should bring some traditional clothing/food/items from your country for specific events. You will receive more information regarding this matter in the Information Packet after the selection period has ended.

A valid student ID that proves you are a student in the 2023-2024 academic year,
A valid passport if you need a visa for Romania, or
A valid Identity Card (ID), National Driver’s License, Passport or any other official document issued by your country, if you don’t need a visa for Romania.

You will have to pass a selection where we want to get to know you and see your abilities to communicate in English.

There are two stages:

1. Essay Application:
Fill out the application on iswint.ro/portal and ensure all necessary information is provided. Submit the completed application.
You will receive a notification in the middle of February regarding whether you have passed this stage or not.

2. Online Interview:
If you pass the essay application stage, you will proceed to an online interview.
The interview involves a quick chat between you and two ISWinT organizers, and is designed to help both parties get to know each other better.
You will be informed in the beginning of March whether you have been selected to participate in ISWinT.
 

You may change it until you pass the first round of selection (when you receive the acceptance mail and start scheduling your interview). From that point, we will begin to process your information in order to prepare your arrival and attendance, therefore any further modifications regarding those will not be taken into consideration. Please make sure you double check all fields before you submit your information.

We only cover transportation in Timișoara. You are responsible for all travel costs regarding your travel from your hometown to Timișoara and back.

A visa is a conditional authorization granted by a territory to a foreigner, allowing them to enter, remain within, or to leave that territory.

A couple of organizers wearing ISWinT t-shirts and badges will be waiting for you at the airport/train station/bus station. In order for this to happen, you need to tell us the date and time (UTC+2 time zone) of your arrival.

We do not guarantee someone will pick you up from the festival location back to the airport/train station/bus station after the festival is over.

Your food preferences are respected, with some exceptions below. You can choose from:

1. Regular (with pork) - it includes dishes that have ingredients from all of the 5 main groups of food: fruit, vegetables and legumes/beans, grain/whole grain/high cereal foods, meat & eggs and dairy products.

2. Regular (without pork) - same as regular but without pork meat.

3. Vegetarian - it includes mostly all of the main groups of food, except for meat.

4. Vegan - it does not include meat, eggs, dairy products or any other animal ingredients.

Exception: We cannot provide halal or gluten free food.

- 130 EUR (+additional fees) if you pay online with your card,

- 140 EUR if you pay in cash at the check-in.
